My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Unlike his namesake, acting isn't this sweet and spunky pup's strong suit, but he sure is entertaining! He's never made it big in Hollywood, but Luke Wilson is a bit of a PAWS celebrity, with his stunning looks and charming personality, who wouldn't adore him? Luke's found amazing success in his ability to melt everyone's heart here at PAWS, but now he's on to his next project; finding an adoring family to spend his life with. Luke will have you saying,“WOW”, with his breathtaking and dopey zoomies. Click here to watch him go!

Luke Wilson is an incredibly social, and cuddly pal. He truly believes that he is a friend to all, and that the feeling's mutual with everybody that he sees or meets.  He will nudge, rub or plop his cute snoot on you to initiate snuggles, and s ometimes his goofy mood will strike and he'll spring around with a toy, or want to play some tug.  Luke is also very sniff-oriented, so he'd love to find companion(s) that like to venture into nature so that he can enjoy all the interesting smells the world has to offer! When his leash comes out, he bounces up in the air with his lanky legs and waits patiently for his harness to be put on to start all of the exploring. He mostly listens to the commands "sit" and "stay," but is very eager to please his humans and would be able to pick up more tricks with continued training, and he is fully housebroken.

Luke Wilson was found as a stray, so we don't know about his history, but think that he would be a good fit for most homes looking for a silly and snuggly sidekick! Based on his interactions with other dogs, we think he could do well living in a home with others that match his energy. Specifically other doggies that love to romp around and get their goof on, and nap when it's all over! While we don't have any information regarding Luke's history with cats, we think that he could do well with anyone that has a comfortability with dogs and zest for playtime after slow introductions.

If you're interested in a fun and affectionate companion, Luke Wilson just might be your perfect match!
