All about Milo from his foster home!

How would you describe the cat's general personality?

Milo is a very kind, quiet, and sweet cat that likes to have his own space.

Does the cat enjoy being pet?

Milo loves when his neck and lower body are rubbed.

Are there any parts of its body that the cat does NOT like being touched?

He is not a big fan of having his paws touched.

Does the cat come on your lap?

Milo likes to sit on my lap when he wants me to pet him.

Does the cat like to be held?

Milo only likes to be held for a short period of time.

Does the cat sleep in your bed?

Milo always sleeps in my bed.

Does the cat seek your attention?

He seeks my attention but also likes his own time.

What are the cat's favorite games and toys?

He loves to play with my hair elastics, supermarket bags, and a cat toy that I bought for him.

What kinds of sounds does the cat make?

Milo is a smart cat that understands his surroundings. He is very quiet, but when he makes noises, he makes normal cat noises.

Does the cat scratch a scratcher?

Milo likes to scratch the carpet more than the scratcher.

Does the cat always use the litter box?

Milo always uses the litter box.

Does the cat ever swat (claws in) at you? If so, under what circumstances?

When I come from work, he tries to get my attention because he misses me!

Has the cat ever scratched (claws out) you?

He never scratched me.

Does the cat ever nip (teeth without breaking skin) you?

Milo nips for fun but not aggressive.

Has the cat ever bitten you (breaking skin)?

No, he's never bitten me.

We ask potential adopters to please note that Milo was surrendered due to biting and scratching his previous owner. Milo has only become reactive in BCR foster care when he's interacted with men. Milo is most comfortable around women.

To the best of your knowledge, how does the cat react to new people? Social? Fearful?

He is not aggressive or scared, he just ignores them and goes to my bedroom.  When he is ready, he will come out and explore.

Does that cat have any cute/quirky traits that aren’t covered by the previous questions?

Milo is the best cat I've ever had.

In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt?

Milo is an easygoing, quiet little baby that likes to cuddle. He doesn't make noises over night or wake me up. And he is very clean.

What are the cat's challenges and how have you found to best manage them?

Give Milo some space and let him come to you. Don't be all over him, he gets overwhelmed.
