My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruh-roh! Get your scooby snacks ready for this adorable 3-year-old neutered German shepherd/black mouth cur mix! He weighs about 60 lbs (unsure what the breakdown is between comically large sandwiches and those amazing ears), was picked up as a stray in Texas, and was saved from euthanasia on his last day. With one ear on the prize and the other listening out for the Mystery Mobile, Scooby is super affectionate, loves belly rubs, and looks forward to spending much of his time as a couch potato. His leash manners are a work in progress, but who can blame him? He’s sniffing out mysteries! Scooby needs to be an only pet, but you’ll get plenty of love from this beautiful boy!

Scooby is up to date on vaccinations and he is currently being treated for heartworm. Pep's Pals Rescue will see Scooby through his heartworm treatment and all treatment expenses are covered.

More about this rescue

Pep's Pals Rescue is committed to rescuing shelter dogs and street dogs and finding them forever homes. All dogs deserve to live their lives showered with the love they deserve.
Pep's Pals is named after Pepper, a lab who gave so much love to the founder of Pep's Pals and her family. We carry on his legacy by loving and caring for the dogs who need to know what it is like to be a part of a family. Pepper was kind to every human and fur friend he met. We believe that's how Pepper would want us to carry out our mission.
