Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Bennie. I came from a feral colony over in Benbow, CA, with 30+feral cats. I was trapped in early December 2023. I was about 3 months old, hoping for a better chance in life. I was getting into insulation under housing trying to find shelter and warmth. I was just a baby trying to survive. My foster mom thought I deserved that second chance even though she was told I was "too feral" to be adopted out. she knew my face was too cute to be turned away so she decided to do it herself.
She has worked very hard with me, socializing me, letting me sleep in a warm bed next to a human, playing with me, and I have as many toys as I could have ever wanted. I get the yummiest food and I have so many foster friends now.
I don't have to worry about when my next mean is, or any predators out there. I purr and play all the time. I want nothing but pets and kisses. I don't mind other cats or dogs, as long as we are properly introduced. I am hoping to find my furever family who will take me in as one of their own. I have worked very hard learning to love the world and not be afraid in it.
I have been been spayed, gotten my basic shots, been tested for FeLV/FIV, been treated for worms and fleas, and been microchipped. I am so ready. I will be such a great part of your home.
You need to fill out an application if you want to meet me, if you rent you need an ok from your landlord, I will want my foster mom to check out your place to make sure there is nothing hazardous for kitties, and you do have to pay an adoption fee. My caretakers spent a lot of money on me getting me ready, so the adoption fee helps mores kitties get ready.
Come meet me. I am a very special girl.

More about this rescue
We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
