Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mini was found in a cardboard box inside a laundromat, covered in fleas and malnourished. But after a few days at the hospital and a few weeks with a foster, she has made leaps and bounds of improvement!
Mini is a loving, affectionate, and attentive dog who will watch your every movement. She loves nothing more than snoozing on your lap and would be the perfect sidekick. She loves to nest and makes the cutest sounds as she does so! She’s curious about the world and loves to go for walks inside a sling. She’s friendly to all people, but due to her tiny size, we don’t recommend small children. She enjoys being around other small, calm dogs but can be sassy with dogs at first – so a meet and greet is a necessity. She reliably uses pee pads, but doesn’t quite know what to do when she’s outside.
She’s roughly 13 years old and current weighs in at 3.5 pounds. She is a senior girl that has some health concerns typical for an older, toy breed that was neglected in her earlier years. She has bilateral MPL’s, but they don’t seem to affect her. She recently had a pyometra, uterine torsion, and inguinal hernia repaired and was spayed at the same time! She will need one month of activity restriction to allow her muscles to strengthen and ensure the hernia doesn’t reappear. If you will allow this sweet girl to continue her recovery in your home, apply today!
