Say hello to Briar!
Briar came to us in 2023 from a very rough situation. Now he is looking for his forever home! Briar is as goofy as they come, and still has his puppy energy! This cuddly boy loves being by your side, he could cuddle all day if he could. Briar has lived with other dogs, and has done well meeting cats. Briar will need a home with respectful children who understand he can spook easily due to his past. If Briar sounds like the boy for you, please fill out an application for him today!

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.
Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.
Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
