Meet Meril--a charming pup with sparkling golden eyes and an equally warm heart. Meril's adoption fee has been lovingly sponsored by the Fredericksburg Nationals as an MVP (Most Valuable Pet)! Meril loves nothing more than spending time with people and playing with his toys. He has done well with both dogs and cats in foster homes. After a fun play session, he is laid-back (lovingly described as a "couch potato" by his fosters) and enjoys spending time with humans, especially if they have treats to share. He is already familiar with basic commands such as "sit," "down," "paw," "touch," and "roll over," and is super smart and treat motivated so he would love for you to teach him more! Though his captivating eyes will steal your heart, his fun-loving and friendly demeanor will make you fall in love.

Our adoption process is easy! No home visits, no reference checks. We have many dogs and cats available for adoption.
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip & registration, basic vaccines, rabies vaccine (4 months and older), age-appropriate blood testing (6 months and older), flea/tick/heartworm treatments, and deworming.
As a non-profit organization, our adoption fees help us to offset some of these costs.

Note - you must be 18 years or older to adopt.
