Behold the most elegant and handsome chonk you will ever meet: BUFFALO!
This boy is A. a good boy and B. is a super loving hefty 14 lb. buddy. Don't get us wrong - we're not calling him fat; he is actually big-boned and SOLID.
Buffalo came to TCR from a hoarding situation with a number of other kitties, including his friend Rhino with whom he shares a foster home. He took about two days to warm up in his current foster space and now thinks he is the king of the lands. He enjoys playing, playing, playing with laser pointers, balls, and, well, really anything. Between playing, he will flop over for pets and belly rubs and will even chirp at you to say "Hey! More pets please!"
Buffalo also likes to explore (he just recently began to explore his whole foster home) and watch the goings-on outside from a window.
We think Buffalo will do well in most homes. He enjoys the company of other cats, especially ones that will play with him, and is getting used to the active medium-sized dog in his foster home. He would also likely do well with cat-savvy children.
Buffalo is estimated to be about one year old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. If you are looking for an Insta-account worthy buddy, do apply for Buffalo soon!

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
