My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Babe! I'm a spirited brown tabby kitten searching for my forever home. I may be small, but I have a big personality and lots of love to give. I adore snuggling and giving kisses, especially right on the mouth – it's my favorite spot! I used to live outdoors, but I've quickly discovered that indoor life is where it's at. I love the safety and comfort of being inside and never want to go back to my old life. Personal space? What's that? I have zero concept of it – cuddling up with my human is my favorite thing to do. I'm undeniably sweet and thrive on attention, but I do startle easily. In my foster home, I didn't quite like having another cat around, and unfortunately, I got scared and accidentally scratched my owner when I was adopted before. Because of this, I might be best in a home without kids. Despite my little mishap, I have so much love to offer and I'm eager to find a family that will give me all the snuggles and affection I crave. If you're in need of a sweet and affectionate companion, I would love to be your girl! Let's meet and see if we're a purrfect match. For more information about me, please email info@frastx.org

More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization.  FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
