My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Maruchan! I'm a lovely female calico cat with a sweet disposition. I absolutely adore people and love getting attention and cuddles. I'm always well taken care of with fresh water and crunchies, and I especially enjoy being fed my favorite treat, baked chicken.  I have a bit of a diva side though, I must admit. I'm not too fond of other female cats, so I would do best as the only feline in the household. But don't worry, I'll keep you plenty entertained with my playful antics and cuddly nature. I absolutely love being brushed and pampered, so if you're looking for a feline friend to spoil rotten, I'm your girl! Come meet me and see if we're a purrfect match. Can't wait to find my forever home! For more information about me, please email info@frastx.org

More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization.  FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
