My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are a 5-pack of 3-month-old Aussie mix puppies left in a box at the post office in Von Ormy Texas when we were tiny babies. A kindly postal worker brought us inside and reached out to 4 Little Paws Rescue who placed us in a foster home. Healthy, and playful, we need just one more puppy vaccine before we can leave Texas, but on May 5th we will be in Connecticut and ready to meet our new forever families!

I’m Henry, I’m a boy, I weigh 18.7 lbs, and I have gorgeous blue eyes. All of us are friendly with everyone, people, other dogs, and even a kitty cat that lives in our foster home. We all love to play and run and wrestle, chase doggy toys, and act silly. We are all affectionate and love to snuggle, but right now playtime is our world, although jerky treats are equally exciting! We know how to use a doggy door and a potty pad as we learn about housebreaking, and we sleep like champs all snuggled together. We all have wonderful temperaments and sweet personalities, so good luck choosing between us!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.

More about this rescue

We are a small group devoted to saving dogs from the multitudes of high kill shelters in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and California. We specialize in saving small to medium breed types and re-homing in the North East where there is less unwanted dog overflow and a high volume of qualified adopters.
