My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birthdate:  04/17/2023

Breed: One of a kind

Weight:   41 lbs

Meet Sarah, the social butterfly of the rescue! With her sleek black coat adorned with a sprinkle of white and charming black spots, Sarah is a vision of beauty. Her warm brown eyes twinkle with excitement and curiosity, reflecting her friendly and outgoing nature.

Sarah is the epitome of a social pup, always eager to stop and say hi to everyone she meets. Whether it's a friendly tail wag or a gentle nuzzle, Sarah's affection knows no bounds. She thrives on human interaction and delights in making new friends wherever she goes.

Despite her adventurous streak, Sarah is also incredibly affectionate. She loves nothing more than snuggling up close to her favorite humans, soaking in their warmth and love. Whether it's cuddling on the couch after a long day or curling up in bed for a peaceful night's sleep, Sarah's presence brings comfort and joy to those around her.

With her friendly demeanor, adventurous spirit, and loving heart, Sarah is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend to join them on life's adventures. If you're looking for a pup who's equal parts social butterfly and affectionate cuddle bug, look no further than Sarah!

Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
