Part-time model, full-time goofball

Naveen is a laid-back gal who loves nothing more than a cozy bed and some belly rubs. She loves to cuddle, but she also would love to hog the bed. You may wake up with a crick in your neck, but you'll never sleep better!

Naveen knows sit, shake, and has already honed her leash skills, and thoroughly enjoys walks. She's happy for attention, but just never complains. She's just so grateful for everything she's given each day. She most definitely enjoys a good meal and treats! Sitting as close to you as she can, just lights up her world.

Naveen would make a wonderful new best friend to anyone. She'd do great with a family, a couple, or a single person looking for their ride or die. Potential to do well with another dog pending a meet and greet.

All adoptions must be done in person. Prospective adopters must meet the pet and complete the adoption application and questionnaire during the initial visit to our shelter at 2802 W Central Park Ave, Davenport, IA.

The Humane Society of Scott County (HSSC) has been an advocate for the humane care of all animals in Scott County, Iowa, since 1902.

An average of 500 pets arrive at the HSSC each month. About 80% come to us as strays and the rest are surrendered by owners who can no longer keep or care for their pets.

The HSSC is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization funded entirely by donations, adoption fees and a fee charged to the city and county for the care of the animals.
