My name is Ginny!

This blue-eyed beauty, Ginny (aka Gin or Gimli) is all about making sure you are happy by throwing the ball or frisbee for her to bring back to you. She is fast and athletic, loves walks, sniffing around, house trained, crate trained, uses the doggie door and is lovely on the leash. Gimli was surrendered to a local shelter for resource guarding her person from the other dog in the home. Saying that she was absolutely terrified in the shelter is an understatement. This poor girl was almost completely shut down but she is now in a home with multiple dogs. At first she was on good behavior but as she’s grown more comfortable, she’s been picking fights so she would do best as an only dog in the home. Gin needs direction, understanding, and a herding breed-experienced owner. She is a 3 y/o Australian Shepherd/ Corgi weighing approx 35#. She has not been tested with cats or kids but her previous owner said she was good with cats and older respectful kids. Gin requires a fenced yard and an active experienced owner. Gin also has a great "off" switch.
