My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Sally O'Malley! I am a young, medium size female. You may have seen my character in the 2008 movie about my good friend Horton? While I have all the characteristics the writers were looking for like being nice, loving, trusting, patient and devoted, I have decided life should not mimic art. My character had 97 children. While I have decided not to have children of my own, I love human children and would love to live and work with your children.

I like playing with friends, cheese, peanut butter, other "Jungle of Nool" animals (my foster home), cheese, chewing on toys and bones, sleeping and did I mention eating cheese!

I am working on keeping my room(crate) clean and started the "Jungle of Nool" basic obedience school this week. I am taking classes on "sit", "down", "walking on a leash" and "here/come". Wish me luck in my studies!

I have head shots avaliable along with my portfolio. If you have a role for me to play in your "Jungle" contact my Dr. Seuss agent at Adopt A Pit. — with Kamela Kordik and 4 others.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

Go meet their pets

As a network of foster homes, we do not have a "shelter location". We do hold meet and greet events each month at various locations where you can meet our precious pitties. Otherwise, meet and greets are only available with an approved application and home visit.

You can view our schedule of events at www.adoptapitrescue.org/events or on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/adoptapitrescue

More about this rescue

Our mission is to rescue, re-home and rehabilitate abused, neglected and discarded "bully breed" dogs, with a focus on educating and advocating to ensure all bully breeds have a positive and optimistic future in a breed discriminatory society.
