Opal recently arrived to us from one of our shelter partners in Nebraska. Opal had been living there for two years, for no other reason than breed restrictions in the state. Opal is so deserving of a family of her own, and we have vowed to get her that!
The staff that cared for her in Nebraska wrote a few lines about their special girl:
"Opal steals everyone's hearts, she's the sweetest senior girl! She is the best of both worlds - ready for adventure and cuddles. She loved exploring the state parks in Nebraska with her favorite volunteers. If there's water around, she will want to go swimming! She loves to cuddle up in her big cozy dog bed at night. She has been at HUA for 2 years likely because of breed restrictions in the surrounding areas. Anyone who meets her falls in love with her and she has turned many into advocates for her breed. **She is amazing!**"
Opal's adoption fee is $150. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
