My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet little Gnocchi. 4 month old female. From her foster mom, "She has been doing great when we leave and last night in the kennel, she was quiet until 5 AM. No accidents in the house, She doesn’t guard toys and she watches everything even TV. She is quite the observer and smart. She does act naughty on occasion but pays attention to corrections. If someone knows dogs, they would know how to lead her. She sometimes tries to be the boss not to the humans but to the dogs. She attempted to ensure that Dash or Bristol could not come by me… quick correction fixed it and she stopped. She pays attention to praise AND corrections."
She is spayed, microchipped, vaccines up to date.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

This is to become an approved adopter. Not for any one dog. Applications are found on the rescue's website at agsrescue.com

2.
Interview

We MAY need a letter from the landlord allowing a pet, photos where the pet will be spending their time. This is in lieu of the home visit.

3.
Approve Application

You will receive an email 24 to 48 hours after all information has been sent to the rescue with an approval, denial or request for more info

4.
Meet the Pet

Not all the dogs are in one place so you will be asked which dog you are interested in, if you are a match a visit will be arranged

5.
Take the Pet Home

If the visit goes well and we all agree to move forward, you will take the dog home for a 24 hour visit.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

After the overnight visit, you will come out to the rescue and either return or adopt the dog.

7.
Pay Fee

If it's an adoption you will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee of $400 using cash or check only
