Blanche!
The first of our golden girls rescued this week as retiring commercial breeding dogs is the lovely Blanche.

Blanche is reportedly a cavapoo (mini poodle/cavalier king charles spaniel), however she is on the bigger side at around 20 lbs. She is about 5 years old and is looking to be promoted from puppy factory to loved and valued family member. Could that be with you?

Although she has been used as a commercial breeder and is understandably confused by the changes in her life, she is a true optimist at heart and even when nervous and confused she continues to quietly wag her tail and give gentle licks to patient hands when people pay attention to her.

Blanche will need a family who understands she will need patience, understanding and socialization. She will need training with everything from housebreaking to leash walking. She however is keen to learn and once she builds trust she will be your little shadow.
Blanche is good with other dogs, having lived with many, and often hangs out with her golden girl friends in our adoption center.
She is comfortable in a crate and it would be a great transition to a new environment.

Blanche's adoption fee includes all of her vet care. She is up to date on vaccinations to date, she will be spayed and microchipped on 4/30 and will be ready to go to her new home at that time.
She also has had bloodwork done, is heartworm and tick borne disease tested and up to date on preventatives.
