Rose!
Rose, to nobody's surprise, may be the current favorite DTR golden girl. She certainly is cute!
Rose is reportedly a miniature poodle, however given that she came to us from a commercial breeding farm we cannot guarantee she is purebred or hypoallergenic or non/lower shedding.
Although she has been used as a commercial breeder and is understandably still nervous we have no doubt she will open up with a little time and patience. She absolutely loved her spa treatment of a groom and bath, which is good as any adopters should be prepared that grooming will be an ongoing need. She will need training with everything from housebreaking to leash walking. She however is keen to learn and once she builds trust she will be your most loyal friend.
Rose is good with other dogs, having lived with many, and often hangs out with her golden girl friends in our adoption center. She was surrendered with 2 of her sisters, who are also looking for their homes (separately). She is comfortable in a crate and it would be a great transition to a new environment.
Rose's adoption fee includes all of her vet care, including vaccinations to date, spay and microchipping.
She also has had bloodwork done, is heartworm and tick borne disease tested and up to date on preventatives.
The online adoption application for Rose is available at https://www.dogtownrescue.org/online-adoption-application
An approved application and appointment are required to meet any of our dogs.
