My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾Meet Bailey! 🐾

Hello there, future family! My name is Bailey, and I'm a spirited 2-year-old Rough Collie with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! My fluffy coat and soulful eyes are just a glimpse of the joy I bring. I'm on the lookout for a new home where I can share all my love, loyalty, and a bit of my playful mischief.

At first glance, I might come across as a bit shy, but don't let that fool you. Give me a little time to get to know you, and soon enough, we'll be inseparable. I thrive on gentle affection and, once comfortable, I'm the life of the party!

A Little About Me:

Age: 2 Years Young
Breed: Rough Collie
Gender: Male
Personality: I'm a bundle of fun and excitement, with just a touch of initial shyness. But give me a moment, and I'll shower you with affection and playful antics.
Likes: Long walks in nature, puzzle toys that challenge my clever mind, and cuddle sessions on the couch. I'm also a fan of learning new tricks; it's a great way for us to bond!

Looking For: A loving home that understands the heart of a slightly reserved pup at first meeting. I dream of a family or companion who cherishes the great outdoors as much as cozy time indoors. I get along with children and other pets, especially if they match my gentle, playful spirit.

Why I'm Looking for a New Home:
Life is an adventure, and sometimes it leads us down unexpected paths. I'm searching for a new home that's eager to embrace all the love and joy I have to give. I promise to fill your days with laughter, loyalty, and lots of memorable moments.

A Perfect Day for Me Includes:
A morning stroll, where I can sniff and explore.
Some brain games to keep my mind sharp.
Plenty of cuddles and belly rubs.
An evening by your side, whether we're watching TV or gazing at the stars.
If you're looking for a loyal friend who's ready to embark on endless adventures, and equally content with quiet nights in, then I'm your guy. Let's create a forever bond and a lifetime of memories.

Interested in making me part of your family? I can't wait to meet you and start our journey together. 🐶💕

More about this rescue

Coastal is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Virginia. We are a foster home based animal Shelter dedicated to finding loving new homes for unwanted, stray, and abandoned Shelties, Collies, Old English Sheepdogs, doodles and other small dogs. We serve Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, eastern West Virginia, and south central Pennsylvania, and are staffed solely by volunteers. We also strive to educate the public about the characteristics of the herding breed and the rewards of giving a home to a rescued dog.

The majority of the Coastal dogs are turned in to us by their previous owners.
