My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Perfect Sidekick for your Adventures

Hey there, future family! I'm Iron Man (some friends call me Auggie) and I'm ready to embark on some epic adventures with you.

At 1.5 years old, I'm in the prime of my life. Thanks to some top-notch obedience training, I'm well-behaved as they come. But don't worry, I'm not all business - I've got a playful side too :) I'm friendly, love to play, and am always up for a good game of tug.

Now, let's address the elephant in the room: My Seperation Anxiety.

I've got a heart of gold, but I also struggle a bit with being away from my loved ones. That's why I'm hoping to find a forever home with another doggy pal who can keep me company when you're not around. Having a furry friend by my side can work wonders for my peace of mind. Currently, I'm in a foster home with three other canine pals and we get along famously!

When I'm not busy charming my way into your heart, you'll find me soaking up the sunshine in the great outdoors. I've got excellent socialization skills and love nothing more than making new friends, whether they walk on two legs or four! Plus, I'm a pro at potty training - no accidents here!

On walks, I'm a breeze to handle, though I might get a bit curious in new surroundings and pull on the leash. There's just so much to see and sniff out there! Who can blame me?

When it's time to unwind, there's nothing I love more than snuggling up next to you for a movie marathon. Couch potato and proud of it! Whether we're binge-watching the latest superhero flick or catching up on classics, count me in!

I'm a total foodie. Treats are my love language, and I'll do just about anything for a tasty reward. Hard chew toys are also high on my list of favorites.

In short, I'm the total package - brains, charm, and a heart of gold. If you're searching for a canine companion who's as smart as he is loveable, look no further than Iron Man!

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States.
