NAME: Boo Boo
BREED: Chihuahua blend
AGE: 7 months
WEIGHT: 6.6 pounds
LIKES: being with people, other dogs, eating, chew toys. She enjoys being loved on and given pets. Likes to be the center of attention.
DISLIKES: being in crate or separated from other dogs/people
PERSONALITY TRAITS: She’s a loving girl and wants to be right by her person; also enjoys playing with other dogs. Energetic and friendly, not a big barker.
POTTY TRAINING STATUS: A work in progress, with frequent trips outside, though she has had some accidents in the house while she learns the routine. Learning what potty pads are for. Her foster family is helping her meet this important milestone.
CRATE TRAINING STATUS: This is not her favorite way to be confined. After a few days in foster care, her family has chosen to leave her out of the crate during the day, and only crate her at night. She does still whine for a few minutes but settles down nicely.
EXTRAS/MISC.: Boo Boo does well on a leash, she tends to stay right next to her person while on walks.
Boo Boo has the makings of a fine little buddy to follow around her future people and just grow more and more in love with them as time rolls on. We see her being a welcome addition to traveling retired folks, or a family with gentle kiddos. She’s young, making her a sponge for training and new adventures.
