My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you Pedigree Foundation for sponsoring my training scholarship with HHHS!
I have a sponsor buddy! My fee has been lowered!

Meet Slate, the tail wagging, playful, super dog!
This spirited canine was once a regular pup, until a mysterious meteorite fell from the sky, transforming him into a superpowered dynamo!
With his newfound abilities, Slate became a hero in his neighborhood, rescuing lost toys and keeping pesky squirrels at bay. One day, he used his super bark to alert humans of a building fire, saving countless lives - :)
However, his heroic act drew attention and Slate was brought to the shelter for safety.
Slate is just a young, energetic, playful dog, craving love & a home.
He's loud when he wants attention but that's only because he has so much love to give.

So please understand that he barks because he wants attention and he is super friendly when out of his kennel!
