This spunky pup is Quincy, a Terrier mix that arrived on 5/3 at the Mesquite Animal Shelter. Quincy weighs 30 pounds and is about 5 months old. And oh that face, bright eyes and adorable ears! He is a playful boy and likes toys. More than toys though he likes treats! He will sit for treats and takes them ever so politely. In fact, he stayed seated much of the time during the photo session in anticipation of those yummy Pupperoni treats. Being treat-motivated might make training easier. For such a young pup, he walks quite nicely on a leash. He is a lively and energetic little fellow. Quincy is friendly and ok with being petted. His dream home would be one in which he would be allowed to live inside and be an integral part of the family unit. He would like to have daily playtime, exercise and enrichment. He would like a good stash of toys to play with and a soft comfy doggie bed to relax and sleep in. He will need assistance in getting out of the shelter and on the way to his forever home.
