My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Cheyenne! I'm a senior girly looking for my happily ever after! I was surrendered to the shelter because I did not like the kitties in my home! That being said, a feline free home in my future is what would be best for me! I also tend to be reactive towards other dogs, so if I could be your only furry friend in your home, that would be ideal! I am a sweet girl that walks great on a leash and am always down for a good belly rub! I also know all my basic commands. I am a pretty chill girl as long as there are no other animals around. I get along with all people, and I probably wouldn't mind some children in my future home either! Does it sound like I could be a good fit for your home? Ask to meet me at the shelter!

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
