Hi, I’m Luna, a charming Jack Russell Terrier mix with a coat that’s as unique as my personality – a lovely blend of brown and white.
At 3 years old and a spry 30 pounds, I’m the perfect size for all sorts of adventures. I’m spayed, my vaccinations are up to date, and I’m heartworm negative, so I’m ready to play and explore without a worry!
I’m a well-mannered lady when it comes to house and crate training, and I’ve got excellent recall. I’m great with children but I’m selective with my doggy pals, so I will need to meet any potential fur-siblings to make sure we’ll get along.
I’ve got a few quirks – like needing a bit of alone time to do my business outside, otherwise, I’m all about the fun and games and won’t go potty. I haven’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, but I can be cat-tested if you’d like.
I’m a playful soul, trained to sit, beg, come, and kennel up on command. Baths? Love them! It’s like a spa day every time.
I’ve been dreaming of a home where I can snuggle to my heart’s content. My previous owner worked long hours and kept me kenneled most of the time, so I’ve been waiting for someone who has the time to give me all the cuddles I’ve been missing out on.
Currently, I’m in Arkansas, but for the right home, I can be transported out of state. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and well-behaved companion, I just might be the one for you. Let’s meet and find out if we’re a match made in heaven! Fill out an application if you are interested in me.

More about this rescue
Our Mission
Operation Save A Shelter Dog is a foster based, IRS-recognized 501c(3) rescue whose mission is to work with shelters on the East Coast by saving dogs at high risk of euthanasia or that have little hope of adoption in their current condition. Not only is it our goal to find furever homes for our dogs, but also to educate the public on the importance of spaying, neutering, vaccinating and providing preventative care for their pets.
