Very friendly outgoing male lab/sharpei mix 4 months old.

Meet Carne, a 4 month old lab/sharpei mix who is oh so handsome, and has a friendly, outgoing personality! Carne was found with his 4 litter mates abandoned in the desert in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Some kind people saw the 8 week old puppies on the side of the road and rescued and fostered them. With love, great vet care and good food, Carne has grown int a very outgoing, friendly and playful young boy. He is healthy, fully vaccinated, sterilized and ready to find his forever family! Carne would do well in a home with a yard to play in and regular exercise. He's very playful and would do great with another dog to play with too.

Additional adoption info

We ask the potential adopter to fill out an application. We set up a meet and greet with the foster parent. If all goes well and they would like to adopt we have them sign an adoption contract.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, have current vaccines and are microchipped prior to adoption.

Fees range between $150 - $300

Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non-profit dog rescue in San Diego, CA

Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue was founded by volunteers in San Diego. Our goal is to "Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome" rescued dogs from San Diego and Baja California.

We love Baja and understand that it is a struggle for some of the people to provide a proper home and care for their dogs. We rescue dogs that are running through traffic, starving on the streets and have no one to care for them. Sadly, many are in poor condition and need medical care. We provide that care with the help of volunteers and veterinarians on both sides of the border. Our adoption fees are used to pay for the care of these pups.

Our dogs and puppies are kept in loving foster homes until they find their forever homes. If you see a dog/puppy you would like to meet, we will put you in touch with the foster family. We also do adoption events around San Diego, please check our website for upcoming events.

Our "Baja Blends" as we like to call them make wonderful pets and will shower you with love to show you how grateful they are to be in a loving home.
