Their adoption process

Video's are provided to help decide if the pets personality is a match for your household. Conversations will determine if the pet is a good match for you. We do not adopt out 1st come, 1st served but try to match the pet to the best household. Thank you.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Once you have picked one of our pets we will email you an application or you can complete one via our website.
  2. Interview
    1. We will do a phone or Facetime interview so you can see the pet in action and you can address any questions or concerns you have.
  3. Pay Fee
    1. The adoption/transport fee listed in total due the week that transport leaves coming to your area. Zelle, PayPal.com or credit/debit card.
  4. Take the Pet Home
    1. Pet will be picked up from designated location, time will be provided to you.

Go meet their pets

All of our pets are located in San Antonio, Texas. We transport every 2 weeks using a trusted pet transport. We transport to most states across the United States and a few areas in Canada.

More about this rescue

Roxxy's K-9 Rescue is located in San Antonio, Texas, a 501c3 non profit. Our organization receives puppies/dogs from a variety of source such as our very high kill city shelter, owner surrender and abandoned/dumped on the streets. We get all of our dogs spay/neutered, rabies, dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped before they are posted for adoption. If there are any medical needs we cover them beforehand.
We like to match up the dogs personality with the families lifestyle so everyone is happy and the match/transition is a good one.
