Carver came into rescue with his mom, Baby Girl (also listed) and his 4 siblings (will be getting vetted in the coming weeks). Carver's mom is a chihuahua and his dad is a schnoodle but he got most of his mom's great looks. The pups were born on 2/23/24. Carver is a typical puppy who never met a stranger! He is super friendly, playful and just a happy little boy. He is the shyest of the siblings. Since he is a puppy, he will need to be trained in every way and will be going thru the chewing phase so please be aware that some effort and work will need to be put in to make him the best dog that he can be. Right now, he is a blank slate so he will fit well into any home or family environment. He will be a small dog once full grown so he should be versatile as far as country or city living. He would make a great traveling companion as well. He's a puppy that you can have a lot of fun with and gain a lot of love from!
Carver saw the vet on 5/8/24 and he was neutered at that time. He was found to have no issues on his exam. Carver did test positive for hookworms so we have given him a drontal to treat the hookworms and started him on Simparica Trio for heartworm prevention and flea control. He weighed 5.9 pounds as of 5/8/24.
If interested in giving Carver his forever home, please submit your interest and your adoption application via email or text ONLY to 352-215-3260 (phone calls will not be answered or returned from this number). Carver's adoption fee will be $250 to help cover the cost of his vetting and daily care while with us. We will only consider applicants who complete the adoption application and will determine whether the applicant would be a good fit for Carver based on the info provided in the application. If we feel that you will be a good match for him, we will set up a meet and greet appointment with you.

More about this rescue
We are a small rescue started in September 2004. To date, we have adopted out over 1,000 dogs and cats who may not have had a second chance. We rescue the majority of our pets from kill shelters and have them thoroughly vetted prior to going to their new homes. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm checked(dogs) and dewormed. We also microchip our dogs so that they can always find their way home. Big and small, we work to rehome them all. We are always in need of donations so if you can help us to help our pets, please contact us! The more people who get involved, the more pets that we can save! You can also see our pets and/or fill out our adoption application on www.petfinder.com. We look forward to hearing from you and making that "forever match"!
