Rescue FAQs

We are a small rescue started in September 2004. To date, we have adopted out over 1,000 dogs and cats who may not have had a second chance. We rescue the majority of our pets from kill shelters and have them thoroughly vetted prior to going to their new homes. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm checked(dogs) and dewormed. We also microchip our dogs so that they can always find their way home. Big and small, we work to rehome them all. We are always in need of donations so if you can help us to help our pets, please contact us! The more people who get involved, the more pets that we can save! We look forward to hearing from you and making that "forever match"!

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application to be filled out and approved prior to any adoption. Our adoption fee for our dogs starts at $150.00 and up. If for any reason a pet that you adopt can not remain with you, we require that the pet be returned to Paws & Claws to be rehomed. We do NOT give refunds for any reason so please consider adoption carefully before you take a pet home. We also ONLY accept CASH as payment for our adoption fees. Our main requirement to adopt is LOVE! If you can offer love to a needy pet, please consider adoption. Your reward will be a devoted friend for life.
