MEET FETA!
Feta is a 4 month old kitten who was found as a newborn living in a drainage pipe along with his litter and mother. Thankfully, this adorable family was picked up and immediately brought to see a vet and then foster care. While their mom isn't very social and prefers to live outdoors (she is now spayed, thankfully), her kittens were very social. All have since found loving families except Feta!

Feta is your typical playful, mischievous kitten who loves to play and is equally as sweet! He is currently living in foster care with other cats and a dog; all of which he loves to snuggle and play with. He'd be a great addition to a multi-pet household. Feta has also been raised with children in foster care and besides being your typical kitten learning to use his claws, he's great with them!

Feta currently takes a daily stool softener because he was born with what appears to be low muscle tone which causes him to strain while pooping. The stool softener helps keep him regular and able to poop easier. There's a chance that this issue will resolve itself as Feta ages but it is also possible he may need a stool softener ongoing. He will head to his forever home with a large amount of his medication so it won't be needed for some time! Despite these issues, Feta is completely litterbox trained. He is also neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped!

More about this rescue

Operating as an independent subsidiary of Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia, City of Elderly Love is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to saving and enriching the lives of adoptable senior pets in the Philadelphia area. Utilizing volunteer foster homes, City of Elderly Love aims to rescue these animals from potential euthanasia at area animal shelters as well as prevent older animals from entering the shelter-system in the first place, when possible. City of Elderly Love also provides palliative and hospice care when needed. Through creative marketing and community events, City of Elderly Love works to place its adoptable pets into loving adoptive homes.
