My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bingo, a brown and cream tricolor Abyssinian, and Flo, a brown-agouti and cream tricolor American, are two girls with personalities on other sides of the coin! They originally came from an owner who loved them very much, but became ill and had to downsize their herd. Bingo was born Winter 2022, and Flo in Summer 2021.
UPDATE from Foster 05/12/2025: "Bingo is the Abyssinian and Flo is the smooth American one. They are very sweet girls. Not crazy about being handled even still after having them for a while, but they don’t bite. Flo will but only as a last resort. I’ve successfully bathed them and clipped nails before. They popcorn in the morning when I give them hay and pellets. Flo absolutely loves to eat. And they wheek every time I give them their daily salad. They aren’t afraid of my dogs either. More curious."
Bingo and Flo went to a foster home struggling with a lot of basic social skills with humans. We have been so impressed by their ability to adapt and learn, and have observed them learning many things such as how to be held, taking food from the hand, going up to their foster willingly, greeting and standing on the pen, and wheeking like no tomorrow! We have also seen them explore new parts of their enclosure such as the loft, and overall become less scared of humans!
Bingo is much more skittish, but has much more attitude! She likes to push little Flo around and be the big boss, even though she is younger. Flo is more calm, and more social. She is more docile, and tolerates Bingo’s pushy behavior. These girls are happy living together, but will need an adequate amount of space to keep the peace.
