Ethel (dark brown) and Lucy (tricolor) are a bonded pair of female guinea pigs born approximately September 2025. They came to us due to their owner not being able to care for them any longer.
These girls are adorable but very shy and will need a home willing to work with them to gain their trust and confidence. They have lived in a herd before, and would likely do well in a herd setting again. Living with older, more confident pigs may help them open up and blossom faster!
From their foster: "Lucy is definitely the leader and more adventurous. They are eating well but mostly by snatching the hay or lettuce piece by piece and eating it in hiding. We are not able to pick them up and cuddle, unless we were to force it and make a hostile environment, which we don’t want to do. They’re slowly coming out of their cage for supervised roaming time and we try and feed them a little pea flake to get them to come up to us. They’re definitely still most comfortable snatching and hiding. Sneaking in a pet is rare. But they are soooooooo cute!!!"
We can meet for adoptions within 1 hour of Minneapolis or Faribault, MN. Potentially further- please inquire and we can discuss!
