My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ozzy, a resilient and loving soul who, like his sister Coco, faced challenges and found hope in our rescue. Ozzy, alongside Coco, came to us after losing their owner and experiencing the daunting environment of NYCACC. Despite their initial fears and the setback of contracting CIRDC, Ozzy has emerged as a happy and affectionate companion.

Ozzy enjoys the simple pleasures of life, especially going for walks where he can explore and stretch his legs. He may not be house trained yet, but he's eager to learn and with some patience and guidance, he'll surely pick it up in no time.

While Ozzy gets along well with most animals, he's not the best match for chickens due to his playful nature. However, he's comfortable around larger farm animals and can be a great companion in a farm setting.

If you're looking for a loving and adventurous companion to join you on walks and share in life's joys, Ozzy is the perfect fit. Come meet this resilient boy and see how he can bring happiness and companionship into your life

Additional adoption info

we want to make sure that the pet and new family are the right fit to avoid the animal being surrendered again or getting passed on. To ensure this we ask questions on lifestyle (if adopter is very active or not), how much they are home, what other animals are in the home/on the property etc. We want to both the animal as well as the adopter be set up for success which is that both sides are happy and their needs are met.
