Introducing Oliver! Charles Dickens should have written a novel about this little dude without a family, because then we'd actually know his story. Oliver was found outside Elkand a few weeks ago and was taken in by a kind family, but it just didn't work out. Now, he's here at the orphanage making friends, learning about the world and asking if he can have some more food. Don't worry, we're not forcing him to work or letting him join any pickpocket gangs.
Like many orphans, Oliver's wish is to find a family of his very own. We think he's likely a purebred Australian Shepherd, only around 6-9 months old, so he has LOTS of energy. He'll need an active person or family to help him burn some of it. He's understandably a bit shy with new people at first, so he may need a few visits to really warm up. Once he does, he's super sweet, friendly and loves to love! He also loves playing with other dogs here, and seems to like most of them. He'd likely be playful with cats, too. Per the people who found him, he wasn't too fond of their kids, but he may just need that extra time to get to know them. Oliver gets neutered and microchipped next week, but let us know if you'd like to come meet him in the meantime!
