My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoptions limited to local St Louis or St Charles cities/counties only.

Application can be found at muttsandstuff.com. Click on ADOPT

Dexter is a sweet boy that will roll over for tummy rubs. He loves attention and loves affection. He has lived with other cats and does very well with other friendly cats. He will need a few days to get his bearings in a new surrounding, and then his love bug qualities shine thru.

Adoption is $65. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, feline leukemia and FIV negative, microchipped. He can be seen at the Petco in St Peters. Note that Petco does not open the Cat Habitat.

More about this rescue

We are an IRS certified, 501(c)(3) non-profit charity (so all donations are tax-deductible) and all of our foster homes are licensed by the state of Missouri. Because we are an all-volunteer charity, all donations go directly to helping animals in one way or another.

Our purpose is to promote interest and participation in the rescue, foster, and adoption of animals from area pounds and from owners who can no longer take care of their animals due to age/illness/death. We strive to match animals in need with committed adoptive homes. In addition, we are strong advocates of spaying or neutering your pets. When funds permit, we sometimes provide help for those who can't afford to have their pets spayed or neutered.

Our first priority is to rescue dogs and cats from the pounds, particularly those that are to be euthanized soon. As space allows, we also accept strays that are turned in by people who rescued them from the streets.
