Meet Chance — the ultimate ball-playing, tail-wagging bundle of joy!
This spirited and affectionate girl lives up to her name, bringing hope, laughter, and unconditional love to everyone she meets. With a gentle nuzzle and a bright, eager expression, Chance instantly wins hearts. She's not just sweet — she's smart too. Quick to learn and eager to please, Chance already knows her basic commands and is always ready for more if you're up for the challenge.
Walks with Chance are a breeze thanks to her great leash manners — unless, of course, she's bursting with excitement to get to the play yard! That’s where her athletic side shines. A true fetch champion, Chance’s love for the game is unmatched. Whether she’s darting across the yard to snag a fly ball, pushing a big toy ball with her nose, or carrying her favorite tennis ball through an entire walk, this girl is always in game mode. One of her most charming tricks is her version of "canine bowling" — she'll cleverly kick the ball under a bench to you like she’s got her own ball return system. And when playtime’s over? She's the one still going strong — you’ll be the one calling timeout!
But Chance isn’t all energy. She’s a loving, loyal companion who adores being close to her humans. She rarely barks, except when she sees a familiar face she’s excited about (especially in the mornings). Cuddles, gentle pets, and pool time rank just as high as fetch on her list of favorite things. She’ll even wash her ball off in the pool or water bucket before bringing it back — she’s got standards!

All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.
The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
