My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ace. What a happy boy! Ace is super friendly and loves people of all ages - he is a favorite of the shelter staff and volunteers!! This outgoing boy also gets along with other dogs but we do not know what he thinks about cats. Ace also enjoys playing with sticks and stuffed animals and romping in the yard. His current favorite toy is his chuck it ball - he sits on the floor with it and plays on his own. Ace will also play fetch with a squeaky toy and knows sit before you throw the toy. He will also sit before he gets his food. Ace also loves to ride in the car. He would do best with an active family and perhaps a yard to play in. Ace is about 2 years old and 58 pounds. Please help Ace find the forever home that he deserves.

Update: Ace was treated for Lyme & Anaplasmosis. He has finished his treatment and feeling great. This boy is full of joy and ready to go home with you!

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Ace's adoption fee is $100. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
