Mojo – Located on Long Island
Meet Mojo - his current family, adopted him as a puppy, and they do love him dearly but as first time dog owners, they recognize that they just do not have the experience or personalities needed to deal with some of his anxieties. Their home is busy, with teens constantly coming and going, and Mojo becomes overwhelmed in that environment. When he’s anxious, he feels responsible for protecting everyone, which only adds to his stress.
Mojo thrives with structure, leadership, and a peaceful environment. He is an active, playful, and bright dog who will benefit from someone confident enough to guide him and help redirect his focus especially during walks or moments of uncertainty. He enjoys the company of other dogs, especially females, and would do well with a confident canine companion after a slow, thoughtful introduction.
The ideal home for Mojo is one that appreciates his lively spirit while providing the steady reassurance he needs to manage his anxiety. With the right match, he has every potential to be a loyal, joyful, and deeply rewarding companion.
NYSRR is committed to helping Mojo succeed.
To support his transition, we are offering a stipend toward professional training for any adopter willing to invest in this wonderful boy’s future. We truly believe that in the right home, Mojo will shine.
If you feel you can offer Mojo the calm, guidance, and love he deserves, please reach out to learn more about him.
