This beautiful black-and-white sweetheart is Gamora — a medium-sized mixed breed girl with the softest eyes and a heart full of love. She’s spayed, affectionate, and full of personality! Gamora’s a little goofy in the best way, and her charming grin shows up most when she’s learning new things.
She loves training, especially with a clicker — it’s her favorite game! When she hears that “click,” she lights up, tail wagging, ready to show off what she’s learned.
Gamora has come a long way in her journey. She’s been working through some anxiety, and with the help of her medication and confidence-building, she’s truly started to blossom, however has some ways to go. She’s looking for a patient, kind person who will continue to guide her gently and celebrate her progress.
She’d prefer to be your one and only — other dogs make her nervous — but in return, she’ll give you all the love and devotion in the world.

We have no affiliation with any larger group and we receive no funding from any larger group that might influence our decisions or actions.
We advocate only for the animals in our care to help them find their forever home with you.
UPAWS does not receive operating funds from any governmental agency. We rely on donations from our neighbors and friends to make our efforts possible. We save consistently 98% of the animals who come to us – which is an award-winning success story. We want to educate everyone on proper animal care so there soon won’t be the three percent who come to us too sick or wounded to be saved. It’s your support that makes this dream possible.
