Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Female - DOB: 8/15/2014. Meet Cherish and Malena, two sweet sister cats with a touching story. They came to us as kittens and were adopted together, but sadly, their owner passed away and they found their way back to us. Cherish is becoming more social, while Malena is still shy and prefers her space. These bonded sisters need a home where they can stay together.
They will do best in a quiet home with no other pets. They are used to a mellow environment therefore a home with dogs or small children will likely be too overwhelming. If you're looking for a pair of loving companions, Cherish and Malena are the perfect match for you!
As long term residents, their adoption fee is discounted to $85 for the pair.

More about this shelter
In 1978 a group of neighbors got together to provide foster homes and find families for the ever-increasing number of stray animals roaming the Tri-Lakes area. As the program grew, it became apparent that a shelter facility was necessary. After ten years of fund raising, the Tri-Lakes Humane Society opened in June, 1988!
We are a no-kill 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter for stray and abandoned animals while seeking to find them permanent homes. We receive no state or local funding and rely solely on public donations.
