Meet Glen! With the best ears in the game and a perfectly huggable 44-pound frame, Glen is the total package. This sweet and spirited pup is looking for an active home where he can burn off some energy and get plenty of love in return.

Glen is a breeze to leash up and loves his daily walks—he needs some work with leash manners and thrives on routine. While he’s still learning proper dog-to-dog etiquette and hasn’t been tested with cats yet, Glen is incredibly treat-motivated and eager to learn. He’s the kind of dog who’s up for training, adventure, and cuddles in equal measure. After a good walk or play session, Glen becomes the ultimate cuddle buddy, soaking up belly rubs and attention. Despite the challenges of shelter life, he remains cheerful and affectionate, always ready to make new friends (especially the kind with treats or belly rubs).

Additional adoption info

All of our animals come fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered (if old enough), and microchipped. Puppies and kittens will be spayed/neutered and have all shots when they are old enough. There is an Adoption application, a quick phone interview to make sure it is a good fit, a meet and greet with the dog, then a home check, and an adoption contract. We ask for a $400 donation for adult dogs, and $500 for puppies at the time of adoption so that we can save other dogs from the shelter. The Little Red Dog (TLRD) passionately transforms canine lives through holistic rehabilitation, education, and community outreach.
