Snaxs is a sweet 4 monthold border collie mix who just came back from a loving foster home, where he was given wonderful socialization and basic puppy training. The fosters report that Snaxs gets along great with other dogs and people, especially kids! He has the sweetest disposition and is easy to train with food-based rewards (he loves all kinds of fruits and veggies, the ones he can eat at least. His favorite snacks have got to be cheese and peanut butter!) He knows, sit, paw, high five (different than paw) & fetch pretty well. He is close to 100% fully potty trained, and is great at going to the door when he has to go to the bathroom.
Snaxs would be great in a home with kids and a backyard to run around. Please also provide LOTS of belly rubs. :) He is a very active guy who needs walks, runs, and opportunities to play and learn. He adopters should be prepared to get him into a puppy training class to continue his socialization.
We expect Snaxs will be a large breed dog, approx 60 pounds as an adult.
Snaxs will be neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated as part of the adoption process. If interested in meeting this wonderful pup, please complete an application at www.jellysplace.org.
