Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Blackjack aka 21!
Blackjack came to us from the shelter with his siblings, and while life started as a group adventure, he’s now all about his forever sidekick, his bonded sister Gogo! These two are inseparable and looking for a home where they can stick together for good.
Blackjack is the goofier half of the duo: curious, playful, and always interested in what’s going on around him. He might take a little time to settle in, but once he does, he’s just as much of a lover as his sister, meaning he's sweet, affectionate, and happiest when he’s near his people.
He enjoys exploring his surroundings, observing the action, and then circling back for some well-earned affection. Blackjack may do well with another cat, and his experience with dogs is currently unknown. Like Gogo, he would thrive in a calmer home without young children where he can feel safe, confident, and truly himself. As he is bonded with his sister Gogo, they are seeking a furever home together.
🎉 Great News! 🎉
Blackjack and Gogo’s adoption fee has been sponsored, meaning their adoption fee has been fully waived thanks to the generosity of a loving AFRP volunteer!
** This pet is a Foster-to-Adopt candidate!
That means you can foster them for a short trial period to make sure they’re the perfect match for your home before finalizing the adoption. If you’re interested, please complete both a foster application and an adoption application so we can get the process started. **
Blackjack is currently in foster care. Apply online today at www.animalfriendsrescue.org!

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.
All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
