Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pellets: 1 TSP timothy Oxbow Adult Essentials
Hay: Unlimited mixed hay
Salad: 1x a day 1 cup spring mix, parsley, cilantro, romaine lettuce
Meet Graham! Graham is a curious, confident bunny who came to SDHRS in September 2024 with her siblings and their mom, Peanut Butter. She has a bold, independent personality with a sweet side that comes out once she feels safe.Very food-motivated, Graham loves her meals and will happily eat hay, pellets, and favorite treats like dried apple or basil from your hand (but don’t offer banana—she’s not a fan!). Though she can be skittish at first and dislikes car rides, her curiosity always shines through. With patience, she’s learned to enjoy head rubs and will even relax into long petting sessions.
Graham loves having space to explore and shows her happiness with zoomies, binkies, sploots, and tunnel adventures. She enjoys enrichment like toilet paper rolls and bunny-safe toys and does best in a calm, quiet environment where she can build trust at her own pace.
Graham would thrive in an adult-only home, or a home with patient children who appreciate a confident, sassy bunny and are willing to let her set the pace. If you’re looking for a spirited companion with a growing soft side, Graham may be your perfect match.
Spayed 10/23/24
Medical note: MAY BE ALLERGIC TO PDS SUTURE MATERIAL. Graham had granulation tissue scarring following her spay procedure that was suspected to be due to an allergic reaction to that type of suture material. She has since healed well and has no further concerns, but her future home should let her doctors know in case she ever needs any future surgeries or procedures.
Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious and deadly disease that affects both wild and domestic rabbits. The virus is causing deaths in rabbits and hares native to North America and is spreading rapidly. In addition to detection of RHDV2 in wild cottontail rabbits and jackrabbits, RHDV2 has been confirmed in domestic rabbits on 50 premises, including a detection in a feral domestic rabbit. Please make sure to vaccinate your rabbits every year. For more information, please visit our website at: https://sandiegorabbits.org/education/rhdv
