Shelter pets' breeds and ages are characterizations based on appearance, and are not meant to indicate or guarantee lifespan, temperament, disposition, lineage or actual breed. Pet profiles provide a very basic description of animals while in the shelter and may not contain all known medical and behavioral information about the pet. Please ask for more information when you visit the pet.

Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is an independent, nonprofit animal welfare organization serving Southern California since 1877. Donations run programs and services including Cruelty Investigations, Disaster Animal Response Team, Humane Education and a variety of shelter services. spcaLA is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals through Education, Law Enforcement, Intervention, & Advocacy.
