Favorite treats: Lettuce.
Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Rabbit Food, Leafy Greens, Western Timothy Hay.
Favorite toys and activities: He likes chew toys and likes running around a big space.
Potty trained: We're working on it!.
This animal’s daily routine: Flexible. No, most of the time he just rests unless you open his enclosure, then he will run up and say hi.
BFF: No, but needs a buddy in an adoptive home.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: My 5 month old Lab puppy; they sniffed each other but Pesto didn't seem scared.
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Friendly.

Other notes: He does not like eating Timothy hay. He is very opinionated about music and during his car ride, he fell asleep to Billie Eilish’s “Everything I Wanted,” “Too Sweet” by Hoizer, and “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” by Meghan Trainor. He was very partial to Billie’s songs however, as he settled quickly during all of her mellow songs. He showed his preferences in music by showing preference for a song by settling himself and adopting a sleepy expression. For the songs he did not enjoy he bucked his head.
Pesto came to MNPPR as a transfer from Bloomington Animal Control after being found in a box outside.
Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the PetSmart - 11200 Prairie Lakes Dr
Eden Prairie, MN 55344 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
