Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPT MAISY JANE: 70 lbs of pure love, beach vibes, and derpy joy
Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your leashes — because Maisy Jane is here, and she’s bringing nap queen energy with a splash of goofy beach mermaid and a whole lot of treat-motivated brilliance.
Maisy is a 3-year-old pit/lab mix who’s been in foster care way too long — not because she isn’t perfect (she is), but because sometimes the world just overlooks the good ones. But her time has come. And so has yours… to fall in love.
She’s 70 pounds of gentle, goofy greatness. Picture this: a dog who loves everyone — dogs? Check. Cats? Obsessed. Kids? She’d babysit if she had thumbs. She’s so well-mannered she could teach a class. Sit? Down? Shake? She’s got them all in her back pocket (along with 3 sticks and a half-chewed tennis ball, probably).
Maisy is house-trained, kennel-trained, leash-trained, and life-trained. She walks like a dream, has zero food aggression, and is basically the golden retriever of pit/lab mixes — minus the shedding and with a little more hip wiggle.
In her free time, Maisy enjoys sticking her entire head out of car windows like a joyful, slobbery hood ornament. She’ll catch the breeze in her fur, her mouth, and probably her soul. She is, scientifically speaking, a total goober.
She lives for bubbles, balls, and attacking the garden hose with the precision of a Navy SEAL. And the beach? Oh, the beach. That’s where she turns into a majestic sea creature — part dog, part mermaid, full ham. If you’ve ever wanted a four-legged companion to chase waves, dig unnecessary holes, and then sleep the entire ride home, Maisy Jane is your girl.
She’s chill. She’s playful. She’s smarter than your average coworker. And she’s ready for her forever home, finally.
So if you’ve got a couch, a hose, a beach nearby (optional, but encouraged), and a heart ready to love a dog who will absolutely adore you forever — it’s time.
