My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, darlings, I’m Morticia, and I’m here to add a little charm and grace to your life. My journey has been quite the adventure—I made my way here from a Florida shelter after Hurricane Milton, and now I’m on the hunt for my forever family. I may not have my own Addams family yet, but maybe you can change that?

I’m a sweet gal with a love for the simple pleasures in life. Stuffies, rope toys, and treats are my absolute favorites. Sure, I might only know “sit” sometimes, but I’m eager to learn more with a little patience, encouragement, and maybe a tasty snack or two. Positive reinforcement, like treats and cuddles, will definitely get me motivated to show you what I can do!

When it’s time for a stroll, I’m an absolute delight. I’ve got medium energy, so I’m just as happy taking a leisurely walk as I am stopping to sniff every fascinating scent along the way. I’m easy to handle on the leash, and I don’t get spooked or distracted by other animals. In fact, I adore meeting other pups and would love a chance to play with them—my excitement to make friends is pretty contagious!

If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion with a playful streak, I’d love to meet you. Let’s fill our days with belly rubs, playtime, and long walks. I’m ready to bring a little sunshine (and maybe a bit of spooky chic) into your world. Let’s make some magic together!
