Townley has truly blossomed in her foster home, revealing her playful, independent, and sometimes mischievous personality! This fun-loving girl has made it clear that crates are not her thing—after three daring escape attempts, she’s proven she’d much rather have her freedom. Fortunately, she’s well-behaved when left alone, never bothering anything in the house. Townley has a hilarious way of entertaining herself, happily tossing her toys in the air, chasing them down, and repeating the game for up to half an hour. She thrives in a big yard where she can run and play, but she also enjoys going on walks and car rides. While she does tend to pull on the leash—sometimes to the point of making herself cough—she’s food-motivated and making progress with training treats. With her spunky, affectionate nature and love of adventure, Townley is ready to find a forever home where she can keep bringing joy and laughter every day!

CARE STL welcomes adopters to either come by the shelter or fill out an adoption application online to save some time at the shelter. The purpose of this application is to gather information about your home, pets, and general lifestyle to help our Match-Makers determine if the pet you wish to adopt is a good fit for both you and the pet.
